NOAA Awards Spatial Front, Inc., $2.1 Billion BPA for Mission Information Technology Services (NMITS)

The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) awarded Spatial Front, Inc. a prime position on its $2.1 Billion Mission Information Technology Services (NMITS) BPA. As described by NOAA, “NMITS is the acquisition framework for delivering the full scope of IT services and capabilities to support NOAA-wide IT solutions for Line Offices, Staff Offices, and Corporate Services Offices. NMITS will enable NOAA IT support and may be utilized by all NOAA Offices.”

Regarding the NMITS award, Amy Gao, SFI’s president, stated, “Spatial Front is honored by the trust NOAA has placed in SFI to bring strategic IT advantage and value to NOAA’s delivery of improved business capabilities in their mission areas of Climate, Weather, Healthy Oceans, and Resilient Coastal Communities. SFI Awarded an Agile Software Development Contract to Support USDA FPAC

SFI Awarded SEC OneIT Contract

Spatial Front, Inc (SFI) is pleased to announce that SFI has been selected as one of the awardees on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) OneIT contract supporting the Office of Information Technology (OIT). This Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Master Contract will provide the SEC with integrated IT services and solutions for evolving needs. OneIT has a maximum contract value of $2.5 billion over a potential 10-year period. It covers enterprise IT services for the agency across seven channels: Application Management and Development, Business Solutions Delivery, IT Infrastructure and Operations Management, Information Security, Data Management, IT Governance, and Technology Business Management. This is SFI's first SEC prime contract. We look forward to applying our capabilities in Agile, DevOps, and advanced technologies in supporting SEC’s mission.

SFI Selected for $500M USDA DAITSS BPA Award

Spatial Front, Inc (SFI) is pleased to announce that SFI has been selected as one of the awardees on the $500M United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Information Technology Support Services (DAITSS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Under the contract to be administered by the US Forest Service, SFI will provide a broad range of IT services supporting all agencies and offices within the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Services will include: IT Governance and Portfolio Management; Enterprise Architecture; Systems and Software Engineering; Cloud Development, Architecture, Engineering and Hosting; Database Development. Data Analytics and Governance; GIS Support; Hardware, Software and System Integration, Administration and Management; Mobile Device Support and Cybersecurity.

SFI Selected for GSA IT's January IP Contractor Award

Spatial Front, Inc. was selected and awarded GSA IT's January IP Contractor Award specifically for the recent execution of a 3-month upgrade to the CFR application, including a substantial number of technical components. SFI Awarded International Trade Administration Customer Support Services Contract

The United States Department of Commerce (DoC) International Trade Administration (ITA) Technology, Services and Innovation (TSI) has awarded SFI a new contract to provide 24x7x365 IT Customer Support Services to ITA End-Users and technical staff. SFI professionals will provide IT Tier I and Tier II support, Desktop Services, training for end users, support user adoption of new technologies, and identify and develop innovative customer service approaches within ITA. Employing advanced ITSM processes through Service Now, SFI will support 3,500 ITA domestic and international customers, to include U.S. companies and their trading partners, U.S. trade policy makers, and U.S. trade representatives, located in 106 different U.S. domestic locations, and 118 offices in 76 countries. SFI Vice President, Roch Mongeon noted that the new contract “builds on SFI’s five-years of past service as ITA’s TradeStats Express Application Service IT provider and demonstrates SFI’s commitment to ITA and the broader Department of Commerce mission.”

SFI Awarded Census Bureau Enterprise Initiatives Support and Modernization Contract

Spatial Front is pleased to announce a new award from the Department of Commerce, United States Census Bureau (USCB) for SFI to provide Enterprise Initiatives Support and Modernization. Under this contract, SFI professionals will provide engineering, integration, modernization, configuration and support of IT infrastructures, systems and programs for the Census Economic Programs Directorate and across the USCB enterprise. In particular, SFI will apply cutting-edge SAFe, Cloud, Security and other technology innovations to assist the Economic Application Division and the Office of Innovation and Implementation in defining and implementing system capabilities and requirements; designing application architecture; defining processing standards; and providing systems integration and testing for enterprise-wide projects. SFI Executive Vice President Mr. Shawn Zhang identified the award as further evidence of “USCB’s trust in SFI’s IT capabilities in a partnership that began more than a decade ago."

SFI Awarded NOAA Enterprise Wide Cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) BPA

SFI is advancing the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA's) use of cloud capabilities under a new 5-year prime contract awarded by NOAA in September. In collaboration with Smartsheet, a leader in process automation tools, SFI will provide NOAA access to and consulting services in using IT project management, operations, communications and other project management business functions through Cloud-based Smartsheet Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). NOAA will gain a consistent, full-featured, and flexible management workflow tool for managing and collaborating on projects on projects real-time. Importantly, Smartsheet SaaS offers a high degree of interoperability with NOAA’s existing enterprise-wide suite of Google applications. The award is an example of SFI's strategy to leverage cloud service provider partnerships in proving immediate value to our customers.

NOAA NCCOS Award

The National Atmospheric and Oceanic Administration (NOAA) has selected Spatial Front to provide IT support to the National Ocean Service (NOS) National Coastal Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS). Under the five year contract, SFI professionals will integrate and operate IT desktop and server infrastructure, and provide IT security, database administration, application and website development, and support NCCOS computational science & statistical modeling efforts. SFI will also support NCCOS in leveraging and preparing for the expanded use of Cloud capabilities, services and future service offerings (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) as an alternative to in-house supported or stand-alone technologies. SFI is proud to be trusted to provide needed IT support to the NCCOS mission of delivering ecosystem science solutions for stewardship of the Nation’s ocean and coastal resources to sustain thriving coastal communities and economies. ARNG Accessions Systems Branch-Training and Database Services Award

We are pleased to announce that SFI has been selected to provide curriculum design and development, training delivery and administration, training application support, and data analysis for the Army National Guard (ARNG) Accessions Systems Branch. Under the contract SFI professionals train and support ARNG Recruiting and Retention and Army Personnel activities in all 54 States and Territories to enhance performance and improve "Accessioning" (recruiting and promotion) processes. This five-year contract award is a follow-on to the predecessor contract performed by SFI. Regarding the significance of the award, SFI President, Amy Gao remarked, "We are honored by the ARNG's trust in selecting SFI to continue to support this program which is critical to ARNG's role in US national defense and homeland security."

FRA Bridge Database Award

Under an 18-month contract awarded in May 2019, Spatial Front is supporting Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) in identifying and improving the accuracy of spatial coordinates attributable to the locations of more than 50,000 railroad bridges in the FRA's National Bridge Inventory as well as the underlying data. SFI is proud to assist the FRA on this Congressionally-mandated initiative to improve the resources supporting the FRA's mission to enable the safe, reliable and efficient movement of people and goods for a strong America, now and in the future.

GSA Transportation Audit Management System (TAMS) Award

SFI is selected to develop the Transportation Audit Management System (TAMS) to automate the audit process for GSA Transportation Audit Division and to modernize and replace the legacy mainframe based system. The product vision for TAMS is to create a reliable, scalable, and cost-effective solution that allows GSA to reduce audit cycle times, lower the compliance barriers for Federal agencies, and empower authorized users with real-time, enhanced reporting and analytical capabilities. The TAMS application will be developed based on Microservices architecture, hosted on AWS with open source technology stack and DevOps framework. Under this contract, SFI provides a wide range of support services including management support, planning, architecture and design, system configuration and build, testing, system deployment, data migration, quality assurance, training, application maintenance and operations, online help and help desk support and security compliance.

SFI is pleased to announce the award of a $3 Billion IDIQ contract to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The Professional and Technical (ProTech) services solution is consisting of five Domains: Satellite, Fisheries, Ocean, Weather, and Enterprise Operations. SFI to Help GSA with PMIS Pilot Development

SFI was awarded a contract to help GSA develop a replacement product for its electronic Project Management (ePM) solution. SFI will follow the path of pilot to Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to a fully integrated Project Management Information System (PMIS). The PMIS is expected to be used for the management and execution of 5,000+ active design and construction projects. The solution will be completely cloud-based and developed in Agile methodology. SFI won the award by providing a better technical solution than our competitors, including at least two "Fortune 500" companies.

SFI is appraised at CMMI Level 3 for both Development and Services

SFI is pleased to announce that our service delivery processes have also been appraised at Maturity Level 3 of the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). SFI’s software development processes have already been appraised at CMMI Level 3. These two CMMI certifications – CMMI-DEV for development and CMMI-SVC for services – demonstrate SFI’s consistent use of industry best practices and dedication to continuous improvement.

SFI Awarded WMATA GIS Support Contact

SFI is pleased to annouce the award of a purchase order to provide Geographic Information System (GIS) support to WMATA (Washington DC Metro). The support will include two parts: the first is application development, covering mobile development and potential Geo-IoT implmentation. SFI Awarded the first Task Order from GSA PBS ITDS BPA

SFI is pleased to announce the award of the first task order to support GSA PBS with the Sustainable Operations and Maintenance (SOM) tool support services. The SOM tool supports GSA’s goal of increasing the number of buildings meeting the Guiding Principles and supports sustainable operations and maintenance practices by providing a central location to document performance. The SOM tool also documents sustainable operations and maintenance practices at scale and can be used to educate property management teams on the Guiding Principles and LEED requirements.

SFI is on the winning team of FAA Traffic Flow Management 2 Program

The Traffic Flow Management 2 (TFM2) award has a total ceiling of $677 million over a twelve (12) year period of performance. SFI will support the Prime in the design, development, test, implementation, and operations and maintenance of TFM technologies. The TFMS provides the FAA with the automated tools that enable data sharing, arrival/departure management, congestion management, system impact assessment, and performance assessment. Spatial Front Awarded GSA PBS ITDS Contract

Spatial Front is pleased to announce the award of a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) contract for Information Technology and Development Services (ITDS) with the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Services (PBS) Chief Information Officer (CIO). The ITDS BPA has a ceiling value of $250 million with a five-year period of performance ending January 2023. The BPA is a GSA-wide contract vehicle providing IT and development services, including design, development, test and deployment of state-of-the-art applications. The BPA provides the GSA Public Building - Information Technology Service (PB-ITS) a wide range of IT services, e.g. mobile development, Agile services, digital management, building information management, cloud services and other emerging digital services. SFI is has also earned the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) eFAST OS 5 MOA award. As a multi-year MOA program offering an array of labor categories with fixed ceiling rates, eFAST is the FAA’s preferred acquisition vehicle for fulfilling Agency Small Business goals. SFI supports these eFAST functional areas: Air Transportation Support (ATS), Business Administration & Management (BAM), Engineering Services (ES), Computer Systems Support (CSS), Documentation & Training (D&T) and Computer/Information Systems Development (CSD). SFI to deliver Security and IT Services to FAA Office of Security and Hazardous Materials Safety (ASH)

SFI is pleased to announce the award of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Security and Hazardous Materials Safety (ASH) as subcontractor for our partner Tetra Tech. The ASH III Program Support Services contract has a maximum cumulative ceiling value of $77 million directly supporting the FAA to make aviation safer and smarter through improvements in hazardous materials safety, personnel security, and facility security. The scope of services includes Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12) policy and systems development and implementation, identification management systems design, development, and deployment, Investigations Tracking System (ITS), Facility Security Reporting System (FSRS), Security Awareness Virtual Initiative (SAVI), Personal Identity Verification (PIV), Hazmat Information Portals (HIP), network security and systems administration, Logical Access Control Systems (LACS), infrastructure support for Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), and security accreditation and certification. This award further increases SFI's cybersecurity presence and our mission critical support for FAA, furthers our industry expertise, and aligns with the company’s strategic focus and core competence of supporting the transportation market and the safety mission.

Spatial Front Accounting System DCAA Audited & Compliant

Spatial Front is proud to announce that our accounting system has passed an audit from the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). Spatial Front runs a DCAA compliant and audited accounting system with approved accounting practices and is able to handle a cost-reimbursement type Federal contract. Spatial Front Awarded GSA 8a STARS II GWAC in Constellations I & II

Spatial Front is pleased to announce the award of the General Services Administration (GSA) 8a STARS II Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) to the firm. 8(a) STARS II is a small business set-aside GWAC that provides flexible access to customized IT solutions from a diverse pool of 8(a) industry contractors. Of significance, Spatial Front was awarded all four Constellation I functional areas which include 1 - Custom Computer Programming Services; 2 - Computer Systems Design Services; 3 - Computer Facilities Management Services; and 4 - Other Computer Related Services. The firm was also awarded all four of these functional areas in Constellation II which requires a higher level of awardee certification for Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and/or ISO 9001 Quality Management System, the firm holds both of these certifications along with ISO 27001 and 20000.

Spatial Front Names Anthony Adoremos as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer

Spatial Front is pleased to announce that Mr. Anthony Adoremos has joined our executive team as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. Anthony's career spans over 23 years in both small and large companies supporting the U.S. Federal Government and commercial clients. Spatial Front Earns ISO 20000 and 27001 Certifications

Spatial Front has been independently audited and certified for ISO 27001 for Information Security and ISO 20000 for IT Services Management. ISO 27001:2013 is the Information Security standard and ISO 20000-1:2011 is the IT Service Management standard. These certifications meet standards published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). By earning these certifications Spatial Front has proven the firm’s rigor in Information Security and IT services management. Spatial Front has previously earned the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management certification and holds the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Level 3 appraisal for software development.

Spatial Front Awarded Maryland CATS+ Contract

This is a 12-year multi-awardee contract to provide broad scope Information Technology (IT) consulting and technical services for the State of Maryland. The master contracts awarded provide the State with flexible means of obtaining IT resources quickly and efficiently. The MD CATS+ contract adds to the existing portfolio of multi-award contracts held by Spatial Front. SFI Awarded Census Bureau IT Security and Desktop Support Contract

Spatial Front Inc. (SFI) is pleased to announce a new 6-year prime contract award in support of the U.S. Census Bureau (USCB) Local Area Network (LAN) Technology Support Office (LTSO) to provide Information Technology (IT) Security and Desktop Support. The scope of work includes the support necessary to develop, maintain, and enhance the USCB-wide Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) capability as well as to provide technical and operational support. Contractor support for this award is comprised of a team of 40+ staff and provided primarily onsite at the USCB Headquarters in Suitland, MD. This $30M+ task order award was through the USCB Systems Engineering and Integration (SEI) Project Tier Contract. The SEI multi awardee contract has a ceiling of $1.8B over a 7 year period. USCB expects to procure extensive systems engineering and integration project support for the upcoming 2020 census through this contract.

Developed by Spatial Front, the smartphone mobile application for the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) Pocket Guide to Transportation is now live for download. Deemed by the Department of Transportation as “the most innovative product yet” as introduced by BTS, The Pocket Guide to Transportation is a compilation of statistics that provides key information and highlights major trends for the U.S. transportation system. The mobile application was announced to the public on BTS website (http://www.rita.dot.gov/bts/press_releases/dot104_16), DOT Secretary's FASTLane Blog ( https://www.transportation.gov/fastlane/introducing-pocket-guide-transportation-app), Twitter (@TransportStats), and Facebook.

SFI Awarded FAA NAS NEO Contract

We are pleased to announce that SFI has been awarded a five-year computer systems services contract in support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Air Traffic Organization (ATO) National Enterprise Operations (NEO) Directorate. The scope of work includes technical support services for the Aeronautical Information Management Infrastructure (AIM-I), Aeronautical Information System Replacements (AISR) Workstations Support, National Airspace (NAS) Aeronautical Information Management Enterprise System (NAIMES/AIM-I) II, and Traffic Flow Management System (TFMS) Operations & Maintenance (O&M) in the NAS Enterprise Operations environment. Contractor support is comprised of a team of 50+ staff at FAA sites including the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Atlantic City NJ, the Air Traffic Control System Command Center (ATCSCC) in Warrenton VA, and the SFI offices in Tysons Corner VA.

SFI Awarded Army National Guard Accessions Systems Contract

We are pleased to announce that SFI has been selected as the competitive awardee for the Army National Guard (ARNG) Accessions Systems Branch-Training and Database Services (ASB-TDS) contract. Support includes training, application support, and data analysis for the Army Recruiting Information Support System (ARISS) and several ARNG G-1 applications. The objective of the ASB-TDS program is to train and support ARNG Recruiting and Retention (R&R) and G-1 elements and activities in all 54 States and Territories as well as NGB-level elements in various locations in order to enhance performance and improve the accessioning process. This is a multi-year contract with staff located at Fort Knox, KY and the Strength Maintenance Training Center (SMTC) at Camp Robinson, AR. SFI is proud to be selected to support the ARNG on this critical program.

SFI Awarded SeaPort-e Contract

SFI has been awarded the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) multiple award contract issued by the Naval Surface Warfare Center. Seaport-e scope of work for task orders can span across seven geographical zones and encompasses 22 functional areas including engineering, financial management and program management. This multiple award contract is for a base of five years with two five-year option periods and with a contract vehicle worth of $5.3 billion in services. SeaPort-e is an electronic platform that provides the Navy with an efficient and standardized mechanism for issuing competitive solicitations among a diverse population of large and small business, as well as a platform for awarding and managing performance based task orders. SeaPort-e supports all commands within the Naval Sea Systems Command, Naval Air Systems Command, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research and the U.S Marine Corps.
